What we collect
When you request a valuation: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, the language you write to us in, and the description of the property you enter — address, type, floor area, bedrooms, features. To that is added, without you entering anything, the note that your request came from this site, along with the date and the exact wording of the consent you accepted.
What we keep to prevent abuse
To stop a robot flooding the form, every submission is counted. We do not record your IP address: we compute an irreversible fingerprint of it, mixed with a secret value, used only to recognise that the same visitor is coming back too often. It says neither who you are nor where you are from, it serves no other purpose, and it is erased automatically after a few days.
Why
To answer you about your valuation, and to prepare the proposal you are asking for. We sell nothing to anyone, we share your details with no third party for commercial purposes, and we add you to no mailing list.
On what basis
Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. We record the date and the exact wording you accepted — so that you can check what you consented to, rather than the other way round.
For how long
Three years after our last exchange, if nothing comes of it. If a contract is signed, the statutory retention periods for commercial documents apply.
Who else sees your data
Our technical providers, and only them, so the site works: the site host, which also provides the cookie-free audience measurement (Vercel), the database host (Supabase), and the service that completes addresses as you type (Geoapify). None of them uses your data for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict its use, or to receive it in a readable file. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at contact@wantitnow.pt: we answer within a month, and in practice much sooner.
If our answer does not satisfy you
You may complain to the Portuguese national data protection authority (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.
